Family vacations are an endless source of memories and tradition. While there are many beautiful and exotic destination decisions, preferred for family vacations our place on the west coast of Florida. For over 25 years, we have a time in the sand on the beach south of the strip of beach in Clearwater, Florida to spend, Belleair Beach. We rent an apartment of three bedrooms which is located right on the beach. Rent a private apartment will allow us to save hundreds of dollars because it is cheaperof a hotel, and we have all the comforts of home. We save more money by stocking up at the local supermarket, so that everyone can make their own breakfast and lunch. Best of all, we go out the door and have our choice: a beautiful swimming pool or in the Gulf of Mexico. What more could you ask for?
This little paradise is sitting with the Gulf on one side and the bay and intercoastal waterway on the other. This barrier island is from Clearwater to St. Petersburg. There are all types ofLiving by skyscrapers and hotels, schools, apartment complexes or on the beach in the country. There's something for every budget. E 'quiet and not crowded, but still close to many activities!
When you want a break from the beach, the possibilities are numerous. A 45-minute drive to Tampa and we are at Busch Gardens for a day of fun. We want the scene of Orlando that we get up early to do the attack and 90 minutes by car. We can spend the day at one of Disney, Universal and Sea WorldTheme parks and back on the beach at 10.
If we want to stay in place, it takes 5 minutes to Gulf Boulevard Clearwater Beach for fun shopping and water. Centrally located in the beautiful harbor, boat trips, charter fishing, pirate ships, dinner cruises and even parasailing for the more adventurous. The prices are more reasonable than in some of the larger shopping centers in Florida beach.
Perhaps our favorite tradition is our night in ClearwaterPhillies Minor League ball field. Located about 15 minutes from the beach, their stadium, beautiful, clean and friendly. Tickets are $ 10 and food courts filled with the traditional ball field is at a reasonable price. They sit beside the field and have a great opportunity to catch a fly ball! programs to sign players and balls for children. There are many special events throughout the season, including the fireworks! It 'been a part of every vacation for more than 20 years.Of course, you can venture to Tampa and watch the Yankees play Tampa in the famous Legends Field.
While we go home for breakfast and lunch, we explore the local cuisine for dinner! Increasingly price-conscious with our large crowd, try the family-style restaurants. Our two favorites are in Indian Rocks Beach. Crabby Bills must be the best fish restaurant in the state. And 'casual style and fun atmosphere. long tables with white tablecloths and red which set up the environment.Nothing special, but there's a party-like atmosphere. Beer and soda by the pitcher, fresh fish on paper plates with a large site such as coleslaw, potato chips and puppies silence. It 's the perfect seafood restaurant family. Stop fun in their gift shop on the way out!
The second family is a favorite Italian bistro, also in Indian Rocks, Italian Café TJ. Casual homemade Italian food. Pizza and Stromboli are a must! This is to bring a little 'Children of all ages! After dinner, Mom next hop TJ's Home Made Ice Cream Parlor for dessert!
What would a holiday be without a family game of mini golf? Travel for another 5 minutes south and you will see Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf right on Gulf Boulevard. Three courses with a lot of "pirate theme" holes with waterfalls and a pond alligator.
Family vacations are a big part of the family traditions of the device. While our children are all older than20-26, we all still waiting for our family vacation. It begins in the winter to get some later date and all are working to plan their holidays. You are invited to bring your partner or friend.
